Hi. I just picked up this car with 124K mi. It has a broken timing belt and i'll assume a few bent valves. I ve got a line on a good 2002 motor with 72K. Is this a direct fit including all sensors, wiring, engine controls and hardware? Are there any concerns with the turbo at 124K. The new(er) engine does not come with it. I plan to change out the T Belt, WP, Idler and tensioner before I drop it in. Should I be looking at anything else? Lastly, can you recommend a good source for the parts mentioned.
Thanks, KJB

There are marks on the engine side and little dimples on the gears to line up. It's not hard once you get a good eyeball on them. I had to use small c-clamps to hold the cams from turning since some valves are open. The tensioner will move when tightening it. I had to set it a bit too loose then as I tightened the bolt it moved into the proper position. If you do this off the car it's much easier to see.
I bought the UK version of the Haynes Manual from IPD. It's very helpful for most things as the UK and NA versions of the turbo 1.9L S40 are similar.
