I'd guess an all day job with the correct tools. I'd budget the whole weekend just in case you snap off a bolt or two.

The oil feed is pressurized oil and the return is gravity feed to above the oil level line so you should be good leaving that in place. The whole turbo is above the oil level.

How far down will I have to disconnect everything? Would I be fine disconnecting the exhausr manifold from the head, then from the turbo, then disconnect the trubo from the cat?

If I go through with it I think ill be marinating the bolts with kroil kano for a few days

That is how I would go about it, at least until something got in the way (like it always does). You can remove the bottom two motor mounts and the support bar to rotate the engine forward a bit if you need more room.

Can I ask why are you replacing the turbo? Or are you planning a rebuild? I know I have found oil in my intake tract and suspect a leaky turbo oil seal but the turbo still works just fine.
