Changed the battery and still not functioning. Inspection was done at a non Volvo dealership. Could the fob been reset by just an inspection? Thanks for any info.

 

Does the car still start and run properly with the key? Did they try to sell you extra services to fix the problem afterwards? (I'm jaded with respect to dealers as I've had my share of bad experiences.)

What is a Nys inspection?
