Just picked myself up a roof mounted monitor for the S40, and I need to get the roof lining off so i can find a spot to mount it (I'm guessing there's 2 layers of metal up there - so i'll just bolt it onto the first).

Can anyone suggest where to start to get the lining off? I've figured the brake light cover and sunvisors have to come off, but I'm short on other ideas.

Remove everything that can be removed.Including the OH S*** handles.You will also have to remove the molding around the inside of the hole for the sunroof if you have one.

Then the headliner should drop down.There might be some velcro holding it up.
