Does anyone know of any parts that I could purchase for my S40 that would add horsepower? I know a computer chip would do a lot, but does anyone know of any specific brands or anything that would be a good buy... also if anyone has any other suggestions I would really appreciate any help

 

for any sort of serious power gains, you are talking a bit of money, for starters you can upgrade your exhaust by getting a new downpipe and catback...you can also upgrade your turbo...the ecu tuning is your last upgrade as you need to chip your computer after changing the exhaust and/or turbo...plan on spending at least 2000 for everything...

C. You will see the most gains with a downpipe and ECU upgrade. These are the two things you will gain the most power from doing to your car.

My recommendation would be to get a 3" mandrel bent downpipe. 2.5" mandrel bent catback system. Some type of intake even if it is just a performance panel filter and then an ECU upgrade. You will see nice gains and like the extra power. It will cost you some good money though.
