Hey Everyone,

I have a 2005 S40 and lately my air conditioner will work for about 5 minutes then stop. I would have to turn it off for a few minutes, then it would work again for 5 minutes, repeat process.

I took it into get recharged and serviced, but that didn't seem to fix the problem and the mechanic couldn't see a leak.

Does anyone know what the issue could possibly be before I bite the bullet and go see to the dealer? It would help greatly because it is getting warm out here...

When it stops try to have someone check for power at the compressor. If you have power the compressor is bad.
