hi have 2002 s40 automatic 120,000 kms...

started the car today , turned it off for a few minutes and than started it up again and the airbag light came on

-- have one of those scanners obd2 scanners to read codes,,was thinking to scan code and than reset so the airbag light comes off

- read somewhere that this scanner will not read airbag light..is this true,,so i guess can clear airbag light

You need a scanner that can read SRS codes to be able to read them.

It could be many things you need to have the codes pulled to know where to look.
