hey guys. what are you running in your s40s? ive used amsoil dominator synthetc in my bikes but ive never run it in a car. I know that make that oil for cars and larger vehicles. any of you guys use Amsoil, what are your favorites?

 

Lowest cost full synthetic. They all meet Volvo standards.

 

I always used Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic costs around $35 with filter for an oil change.

 

Amsoil should be fine. Synthetic is a good idea for any Volvo with VVT to keep the oil passages clean. I use name brand synthetics that Walmart carries, ie Pennzoil, Mobil 1, Castrol etc.
