Has anybody had a problem with 2009 s-40 developing a 2.5 amp short sitting overnite killing the battery.

 

Did you find the culprit?

I would try unplugging major modules overnight and checking back each morning. Did you leave the headlight switch in the middle "Parking Lamp" position? Neither the key nor the low voltage cutoff turns off parking light drains (ask me how I know).
