Battery covers
Hi all,
Forgive me if this was already discussed or if I am posting in the wrong area.
I received this car a few months ago now, its a 2008 s40 T5. It had a T6 battery if I remember it correctly, the smaller one that fit in the original battery cover. I upgraded to the H7 because I left my lights on -_- and wanted a good battery. Anyway, since the battery is bigger, the cover no longer fits. I wish I knew that would happen. Is this unsafe or is it ok? I figured it will be fine. But is there another battery cover built for this battery that I can install or am I just stuck with this?
Thanks in advance for any input.

My 2005 T5's battery cover sits loosely on the battery. It has heat warped a bit over the years and will not snap into place. I just position it and close the hood. There is a rubber piece that directs cool air from the front that holds it in place.
I think there is only one cover.
