Hi all
My wife drives a 2005 S40 t5 what a great car we got it in late 2005 and to date its been great , I have read most of the treads but just a question on the dreaded central locking.
The rear door (on left only) only locks with pressing the remote 2 times (double lock) or about 10 seconds after locking. I drive a GT 3.2 Alfa so am used to all sorts of problems.
I have not seen anyone mention double lock here
If we leave the vehicle it double locks and all is fine (takes about 10s)

Is someting about to fail ,its out of warantee?

 

Welcome to the Forum. I have not come across this issue before but that does not mean something is going to fail. Have you posted this question in the S40 section?
