Hi all, im new here, im also a mechanic but not had much dealings with volvos, iv just purchased 2008 s40 2.0d fully loaded beauty, only issue is the central locking and keyless entry does not work, the central locking works inside of the buttons but nothing on the key, both my keys have new batteries and test but nothing at all on the key works, diagnostic machine gave me a error of communication with the keyless unit no signal. I have checked the keyless module for the powers and can signals and everything is there.

does anyone have an idea before i start throwing money on parts
