change "sport" suspension to standard?
Anyone know enough about the 2006 S40 front suspension to tell me what would be involved with changing the "Sport" suspension components back to the standard components for a nicer ride? I find the ride of my "new" S40 just too punishing at times, and I don't play boy-racer with my cars any more.
Looking here: 2006 Volvo S40 Parts - TascaParts.com,
It seems pretty clear that part #11 - Stabilizer Bar and #13 - Bushings are available in "Sport", "Dynamic" and "Comfort" versions. What about #4 - Coil Spring, there are 5 different springs available, marked 11 thru 15. Are there any other differences?
What if I ignore the springs (much harder to replace, yes?) and replace just the stabilizer bar and bushings? Or will that create a mess with the mismatched components?
