Check Engine Light Problem
My first thought on the P0456 is a loose gas cap. It's EVAP, not EVAC. It could be a small hole in a hose somewhere. But always start with the simplest solution first!
P0015 pending, the car has not completed enough of the driving cycle yet. In my own experience with my S40, and resetting the computer a lot, it takes about two hours of mixed city and highway driving.

Did you ever do the engine flush with the Sea Foam? will damage nothing and is recommended highly to attack engine sludge and remove it. Will do 0 harm too your engine, just make sure you follow the directions. If the gas cap tightening didn't work and it still throws the code, I would clean and check the evap purge valve. It is a little electronic valve mounted on the radiator by the battery, has two vacuum hoses going to it. Use a little throttle body cleaner on it. Good luck.
I do have the Sea Form, but I have not used it. I read on the can three ways to use it and I do not know which one to use. I guess I am leaning to putting it in the engine oil. It seems the best way.
Also, it produces a lot of smoke from what I have been told and what I have read. Thus I am reluctant to use it anywhere except a service garage. My neighbors might call the fire department. The OBD is on order from Amazon.
I have never filled the car with has with the engine running! To replace the gas cap could help, but should I use a generic or an original replacement?
I would think that the seal into which the gas cap is placed would be also replaced. That might leak and only Volvo has that.

It's a sludge issue and the solenoid change may or may not fix the CEL issue. You can try an engine flush with a quart of ATF ( remove a quart of oil 1st, don't over fill the oil pan). If that doesn't resolve the issue then you'll need to replace the CVVT hub/gear assembly. Big job and it needs a special Volvo cam locking tool to insure you don't have a catastrophic event in the valve train due to NC combustion chambers. Hope that helps
