clunking noise from front end

clunking noise from front end

Im hearing a clunking noise from somewhere in the front end of the car. it only happens when driving forward, not in reverse or when idle. help please!

does it happen mostly on bumps?

sounds like a strut seat, or a strut mount.

No bumps dont make a difference, its just constant while driving forward

wheel bearing...

jack up the car and with ur hands try to "wiggle" and move the wheel around and feel for play.

Had a similar issue when going slowly over small bumps. Ended up being the sway bar end links. Cheap and easy DIY.
