My 01 S40's air intake is a little busted, so I'm thinking of just changing out the whole thing + box for a Eurosport Tuning Ultra-Flo air intake kit (www.eurosporttuning.com). Just wanna find out if anyone's had this mod and if there are any noticeable improvements or problems associated. Also, is it easy to change out, or am I going to need some special tools to fit the new kit in?

 

Ok the EST intake looks nice and it will give you some nice sounds.

However as far as good HP improvement NO.

You may see 1-3 Hp increase but I doubt it. If it comes with a heatshield that is good but it isn't the best still sucks in hot air which is BAD.

From the description and pic it seems the BMC doesnt have a heatshield.
