I was driving my 2004.5 T5 the other when I noticed the car didnt turn over the first time I tried. The lights came on and everything so I tried again and it was fine. A few minutes later while driving, my windsheild wipers came on and my message indicator first said trunk lid open, the srs airbag check urgent. The windows won't go down, the doors wont lock, the turn signals don't work, my gas gauge is way below zero, and a red (looks like a hazard sign) comes on. My windsheild wipers won't stop, tried using the fluid to see if that would work, but it wont even spray. I disconnected the battery thinking it may reset the computer. I have had the battery unplugged for about a day and i just tried it and it still hasn't stopped. Now even though my car starts, my friend came over with a jump pack to see if the battery was bad. Well he was great to come over, however his jump pack was not even a 1/4 percent charged. But when he unhooked the charger and i shut off the car. It wouldn't start. And since it didn't start, I couldn't get my key out. I don't know if the computer is just having a freak out or what. I don't want to drive my car due to the airbag light. Can that deploy?? Any ideas what is going on with my car would be great!!

 

I've seen a bad alternator cause issues like this. When the battery gets low the car starts acting up. Have you tested the battery and/or alternator? With all the lights going crazy the bad alternator light is easy to miss.
