Unhappy Continuous (no-seat belt) warning sound?

Hi everybody,

You all know that in the S40 when the driver doesnt take his seat belt on, it starts tikking (tik tak tik tak tik tak) and the red (No-Seat belt) sign on the roof starts flashing.

Well, in my case, even when the seat belt is on it continues to tick the same way.. It stops for seconds, sometimes minutes, and starts again, didnt find a real pattern for when it starts and when it stops. And its really annoying.

I have noticed that the left signal handle has become so sensitiv, that a simple touch can activate that sound. So sometimes, this simple touch causes it, sometimes not.. I am confused..

Ever experienced such a problem? Is it the relay? Or is the the left signal handle?

Thank you

Huso from Denmark
