Default Dash lights behind A/C ***** - Where to get them?

Hi Everyone. I am looking for a place to get the little bulbs (3) that sit behind the A/C and airflow control ***** on my 2000 S40. They are going out one by one (there is only one left working now). They have a small blue colored cover over them to tint the light and make it softer. Is there an aftermarket supplier for these little bulbs? Thanks for any replies in advance.
Chris

I had the same problem on my 2003 s40 about a year ago. I got the bulbs from the dealer and they were about $20 CND each. To replace them you have to remove the climate control cover (prying it slowly from each corner. Behind the cover there are 4 screws to be removed. Once screws removed, push left side inwards and pull the right side of the climate controller. Pull it enough so you can disconnect the wire harness. Then push right side in and pull left side out to disconnect the other wire harness. Both wire harnesses have a lever you have to press to remove it. Then you should have enough space to wiggle the controller out of the hole. If you look on the back of the board there are, three black bulb connections on the printed ciruit board (you will not see the bulbs yet). Twist the black connections counterclockwise and pull the bulb out. I used small needle-nose pliers to twist when removing. It may make more sense if you purchased the bulbs before and see what the back connection part looks like. Disconnecting battery may not be bad idea. Good luck

I had the same problem with my 2000 V40. I got some bulbs at Autozone (Sylvania #2721) the only problem is that the wires are too short. To solve that I twisted some thin copper wire to the bulb leads and inserted these into the housing, folded the ends over the edge cut to the right length and done.
