Do I have to remove the crankshaft pulley to remove the intermediate block?

Default Do I have to remove the crankshaft pulley to remove the intermediate block?

I want to drop the intermediate block without removing the entire engine. I only need to reapply the sealant between the intermediate block and the upper block. I've already removed the oil pan. I have full access to VIDA, but this isn't outlined. Do I need to remove the crankshaft pulley (please say no) or can I just separate it without doing that? I attached a picture:
