Hello all. I was just curious if anyone knew where I could find a complete diagram of the evap system from a 2000, 1.9T model. I got a CEL last week and the simple gas cap fix didn't work. I'm sure its some tubing that is old and cracked causing a small leak. Thanks guys.

 

The vacuum pump has been known to fail. Check the fuses too.

 

VIDA is quite thorough, and I believe it covers 2000 cars. I haven't looked for the Evap system info though.

You won't need DiCE for the information side of the system.

 

I would love to have VIDA DiCE, but I don't have the cash for that. I have scan xl pro from palmer performance and a bluetooth obd2 scanner so I know the codes. Just needed the diagram so that I know the location of the vacuum pump, lines, and charcoal canister.

You can't do downloads with just a factory DiCE. You need a legal copy of VIDA and a subscription to allow downloads.

 

The subscription is what prevented me from programming a new key to my car. At least that is where I hit my first roadblock.

 

Yup. Programming new keys is one of the things that clone DiCE's CAN'T do.

For the OP, however, DiCE / VIDA is excellent.
