Default Factory lighting on '05 S40 t5

I picked up my car only a few days ago and noticed that the advertised "bi-xenon" headlights put out normal halogen-looking light. I was expecting a clear white color. I don't necessarily want a blue headlight but I was hoping I could get something a little nicer with this car over my mazda3.
Do I need to upgrade something?

Who advertised the bi-xenon headlights? They were an option when the car was new so it is possible they are not fitted.

The used car dealership was advertising it as having bi-xenon lights. It looks like a projector light but yellow-ish color so it isn't all that impressive!

Are you sure you know what bi-xenon means? Why not bring it back to the dealership if you're unhappy?

Go to SharpHID.com and get yourself some HID's talk to John there and he will set you up right.

Nope don't really know what it mean, but expected an HID 4300k type look at least. These look identical to what's installed on my near base mazda 3.

I'm in the same boat, man. I'm certainly not disappointed in the halogen projectors, but a higher color temp would have been nice.

Do your brights lock on? Mine work fine, but it wont let me lock them on. They're crazy bright...maybe a safety thing? Anybody?

You have to set your light switch to the low beam mode (the top position) then you can engage the high-beams... I actually couldn't figure that out either at first
