fault light came on :(

bout 1/4 mile from home the * engine system needs servicing * light came up... what does this mean ? or could it be anything ?

It could be 100 or more things you need to have the codes pulled.

wait wait wait. Is it the "service light" or the CEL? Service light can be reset and is nothing wrong. CEL could be bad. What Year car?

By looking at his previous posts it is a 2005 and that would be check engine light basically.
His car should have a a different light then just a SERVICE light.

Ya I have a 2000 and my SERVICE light came on and it can be resettech, you certainly know this!

its off now . turned it on this morn and theres nothing on :S strange

full service and oil change/cambelt change friday so theyre gna have a look for me
