first ignition switch now this..
I have a 2004.5 volvo s40 and last week my ignition switch went.. I had it fixed at my dealership ($515) then when I got it back, along with the high beams not working, I started to smell something burning and that happened for two days but the next day when I went to bring it back it stopped so i continued to drive it. Now last night when I driving it, I got a message to stop safely and all the lights started flashing and the windshield wipers stayed on.. I had it towed to the dealership and am still waiting to find out whats wrong. So far I think its the control module but I'm not sure.. Do you know if these problems are interrelated like could the dealership have done something while they were doing the ignition switch to break this?
