I have 2004.5 s40 t5..
I believe my car is guzzling gas.. Just bought the car.. Pay about 80$ a weeek just to drive about 350miles.
No check engine light.. Just wondering if this is normal or not?

 

your gas mileage will vary based on driving style and nature of your driving - ie city vs highway. Guzzling is too ambiguous a term, so my suggestion would be to note the mileage between fill ups and gallons on the refill to estimate. Also, winter blend gas hurts mileage by 1-2 MPG. For comparison, my 850T gets 19-20 around town, 26-28 on the highway or about 22-23 overall. My 2000 S40 gets about 22-24 around town and 28-30 on the highway or about 25 overall. So with that as a yardstick, I'd expect you to go about 350 miles per fill up (ie 14-17 gallons). If you are doing a lot of stop and go/ idling etc, then maybe 300 miles per tank.
