i have to give alittle throttle to start and runs rough for a min then runs good what could it be

 

Could be the fuel lines or the fuel pump. Any check engine light? Any extra trouble starting right after filling with gas?

 

Mine is 2003 s40. it starts and goes off almost immediately in the morning and evening when going home from work. I only manage to get the fire on if i put my foot on the accelerator. It's been so since I got the car in October last year. I once changed the starter plugs and it stopped only for a short period and started again. What cld be the problem?
