Hi, new Volvo owner and first time post...

Heater all of a sudden stopped working . A/C and re-circulate lights flash....

Any help appreciate....winter is coming fast !!!

Could be electrical in the heater/AC controls

 

Year 2000, comes on for a second after car is started and then stops. Someone said the resister (?) and the blower. Blower may be seizing and pulling too much electrical power. Both must be changed at once. What are your thoughts?

 

The blower motor may be the root cause of your problem but I would be more likely to think it a problem with the resistor; when those lights flash that means a code is stored in the system. I would see what that code is to narrow down the source.
