Default Help For buy one s40t4 2000

Hello here,
I'm still searching for the s40 t4 Since the other lost a bad move from the seller.
The s80t6 was discarded by the box. Now I found another manual s40t4, manual there are very few in my country. 2 years ago it was unemployed since it belonged to his father, and it failed, he thought to keep it and repair it.
He says that his mechanic told him that he had a bad turbo.
The car physically looks very good, aesthetically and interior, as it was well cared for.
Now the problem is that oil reaches the spark plug and it fails, as the mechanic said before that it was the turbo. It has 175 thousand km, what do you think?
I don't think it's just the turbo that fills the spark plugs with oil, surely you have to make a bigger adjustment to the engine.
If you want, I can put photos of the white interiors in black leather.
I don't want to get a headache and have the car stopped for 2 3 months.
What do you think? can it just be the turbo? it is something difficult to prove.
very very thanks.

when you say oil reaches the spark plugs - you mean you see oil on the top deck when you pull off the top cover? Usually there's two ways that happens 1) the oil fill cap gasket is bad or 2) the vent hose that goes into the top side is bad. This can happen or be the by-product of a clogged PCV system. 175K km (108K miles) is nothing for these cars so I'd look for other signs that the engine was not properly cared for. Do you see any sludge when looking in the fill cap? Any foam on the dip stick? Try doing a glove test (remove the oil fill cap, place a latex "surgeons glove" over the hold and start the engine. If it inflates like a balloon, you have positive crank case pressure that suggests the PCV needs some attention).

Thank you.
I went to a mechanic who worked for the Volvo, he told me that it was not worth it, you have to do the engine.
So with regret I discard this, now I can see an automatic that looks very good.
But the box scares me a bit, apart I wanted it to be manual, since it is not just for walking, it is for every now and then to give it some joy when accelerating.
I do not know if I should stay with an automatic, there is also a 2.0t but it is already another type of car it seems to me.
