Default How to change time on '03 S40?

Greetings.

I recently replaced the battery of my '03 S40. Now, everything is fine but the clock is showing wrong time. I was trying to correctit, but just couldn't find how to adjust the time. It was not mentioned in the factory manual. Can any one help me out?

Thanks a lot!

If it's the same as my '02, I think you just turn the same button that you push to reset the trip meter.

Andy,
Thanks for your replay.
I've tried that way. But that button is firmly fixed, I can only push it but not turn.
Can anyone give another solution or confirm that the botton on my car is broken?

Not sure if this link to Volvo will work, but the owner's manual is online.

http://new.volvocars.com/ownersdocs/.../03sv40_00.htm

from p. 20 :

6 Button for setting clock/resetting trip odometer
In both cases, the ignition must be switched on
Clock: Without pressing the button, turn it clockwise to advance the clock, or counterclockwise to set the clock back.
Trip odometer: Press the button to reset the trip odometer.

I have an 03 S40 and was able to turn mine. It doesn't feel like it turns but it does. Just turn (takes a little pressure) and hold it, the clock will change.

Ditto. Same as my 02 S60.

Tried but only the minutes adjust. How do I switch from the minutes to the hour. I want to adjust the hours.

It is one and the same. Just hold the dial to one side and eventually the minutes will fastforward and the hour will change.

it may feel like it's fixed but you can turn it a really tiny bit and that is enough to change the clock
