Hi I'm new here i just bought my first Volvo
It is a 1998 volvo and the right hand turn signal does not switch off after your turn. Is this an easy problem to fix? I am fairly mechanical minded. I have replaced return springs on older model chevs. Could someone please help guide me with this?
Thanks

You can remove the switch and test your self and see if it works.
Remove the switch.Holding it in your hand move it up like making a right turn. Then push the white peice either way and see if it comes back down. Like it is canceling.
You can also look with a flashlight and see if the piece I was talking about it broke.
Look inside after the switch is out. You will see a black piece that moves when you move the steering wheel.
Look at it closely you will see a piece of it that is higher than the rest. That is what hits the white piece when the wheel is turned. Sometimes the end of the highrise will break out not allowing the switch to cancel.
