Default Intermittent Turn Signal Problem

2000 S40 Turbo. The turn signals will stop working intermittently every once in a while. Sometimes after you shut the car off for a while, they will start working again. They seems to be no pattern to it. All I have done is changed the fuse, although it wasn't blown. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Could it be a flasher going bad? When they stop working, not even the little arrows on the dash will light up . Where is the flasher on this car?
Thanks, Tom

Sounds like you may have to replace the turn signal switch.
