Default Keeping car battery from moving.

During a repair of my 2002 Volvo s40, I noticed that there was nothing securing my car's battery. It had moved around whenever, I drove and could possibly cause a tear in the radiator hose, located nearby.

It seems that whatever was holding my battery in place was now gone.

Is there an easy, quick and inexpensive way to hold this battery in place?

I am open to some holder by Volvo or a third party.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Respectfully,

PN# 9444282 is the battery hold down. $4.61 at Tascaparts.com It slips over the edge of the battery and the battery tray.

Default Orange colored part

Is that the small orange colored part for the battery?

its a small 2 inch long L shaped plastic clip that goes over the edge of the battery tray and the small foot on the front of the battery. I suppose if you have a wrong sized battery (I believe the standard size is a group 48) it may not work so then its a trip to Walmart for a bungee cord :-)
