Long cranking time after car sits for 30min or more
Hello...I just found this forum. ..and of coarse had to join!!!
I'm having a problem...my 2000 s40 1.9 turbo takes about 5-6 sec to turn over each time it sits for more than 30 min. This has be happening for 2 weeks since i replaced my volvo battery with a die hard battery (12volts/ 700 cold cranking amps) Temp doesn't seem to change time it takes to start. I thought it might be something to do with fuel pressure so i tried turning the key to allow the accessory position three times each time listening to make sure the fuel pump was coming on.... still didn't notice the crank time shorten.
Any suggestions??...PLease help
