Ok where is the transmission fluid dipstick on a 2004.5 s40 t-5? Yes its an automatic. I cant find it on either the engine bay or the owners manual. Pics and arrows pointing it out would be a huge help.
thanks.

Look on the drivers side underneath the coolant hose. It is a yellow dipstick. It is usually easier to check it from underneath.

I was changing my oil a couple months ago and found the dipstick for the tranny while I was under the car with the skid plate removed. It is difficult for me to see from above because it is hiding under a cluster of about 3 wiring harnesses, to the right of the radiator hose (passenger side) between the airbox and the radiator fan. It is yellow and difficult to remove due to the wiring harnesses (and their clamps) being in the way.
