new to volvo with a question
hey Jeff here
Hi I'm looking to buy a 2007 volvo (duh) s40 I5. i see some listed as a I5 and a T5 just wondering what the difference is between the two. Also how reliable are Volvo's I have never owned one and don't know anyone who has. Any help would be nice..
Thanks Jeff

Welcome to the forum.
They are both 5 cylinder motors. The i is a naturally aspirated 2.4L motor rated at 168 hp. The T5 is the same motor with a turbocharger that ups the HP rating to 218. The T5 will have the sport suspension as standard. The sport suspension was an option on the 2.4i. Volvo's are reliable, but make sure you keep up with normal maintenance.
