Forgive me if this is discussed already, please point me in direction of info of so. (There are a lot of threads to look through)

so I have been given a 2011 S40 1.6d D2
it is a non runner. No crank
dash says immobiliser issue.
the guy was driving ABS light came on. He got home turned car off and it won’t start again.
he got another ABS pump. Turns out they can only be programmed to a car once or they need software coding to the new one.
move out the old one back in but still nothing.
I can’t find any specialists with diagnostics capable local to me to do this software coding.
I have a fault code stating control module configuration incompatible

has any had anything similar. Any easy fix or know anyone Peterborough Cambs location able to help.
main dealer will cost more than the cars worth to repair
any advise much appreciated
