Default Oil API service spec? Does it really matter?

Hello,
i just realized I am running API SN (Mobil 1 synthetic high mileage) and read in my manual that my 2001 s40 1.9t calls for API SN. I'm pretty sure that their almost the same and both modern API specs. Just figured id get some input. My question is, is it OK to run?
Thanks all

I also run synthetic high mileage oil in my 2000 s40 - I stick with big brands - Mobil, Castrol, Penzoil etc as they pretty much cover all the legacy specs. If you want some deep dive reading on engine fluids you can check out the "bob is the oil guy" forum, but I think you're in good shape.

You will be fine with any Mobil One brand in the correct viscosity.
