Once again a newbie questions : Is it okay to use Synthetic Oil in a 2001 S40 1.9T with 60,000 miles ?
Also what oil brand and oil filters are you'll using ? Can a person use Synthetic oil on a turbo car?

IMO synthetic is better to use in a turbo car.
Use a OEM filter or a Mann filter. (Mann is OEM)

The brand of oil is up to you. It is what ever you like.

Synthetic all the way and please don't use Castrol some of the worst oil out there. Use Mobil 1 full synthetic.

Because the other Brands are Junk.
Most don't fit properly.
Since they are inserts the aftermarkets don't slide in tight allowing the oil to bypass the filter.
