We have a 2001 S-40. We lost one of the remote entry units and I took a replacement to the dealer to program. They could not get the one I brought in or a new one from their shop to program. Their response is that the on-board system will not accept newcodes or delete existing ones. They estimate at least 2 hours to diagnose. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't mind not using the remote other than the fact that the alarm sounds everytime I unlock the car with the key and open the door.
