Remove glove box entirely 2001 S40
I want to access behind glove box to replace the bad transistor that operates the interior temperature control and a previous posting indicated it was behind the glove box.
The glove box door and fabric piece below the door came out easily but I want to remove the plastic housing that the door slips into.so I can access the various controls behind it but am stymied as to how to remove and where all the screws and bolts are and not interfere with air bag that is in the dash. Am I making this too hard and is there some way to get this piece removed. I am speaking of replacing the 2N3055 transistor.
