Repairing car finish after car was keyed
Help please someone. I just noticed over the week-end that someone keyed my car.
It is not a large scar, just a small one. But it is large enough.
I have heard of all kinds of remedies and fixes for this. I am just interested in finding one that works.
My card is a 2002 Volvo s40 with a metallic finish. Some would call it silver.
Any workable remedy appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Respectfully,

lots of good vids and tips on youtube for body touch up. If your car has metallic paint, you have a color base plus clear coat. You can find the paint code on the metallic plate with the vin and manufacture location (maybe under the hood on the firewall?) You should see a 3 digit color code ( ie 324 = silver dawn metallic), which you can then order a touch up stick or a spray can along with some clear coat. Depending on how large/deep you may need to sand/glaze/primer/color/clearcoat.
