The high center stop light assembly is out on my 2005 S40 T5. Dealer told me around $300 to replace it. I bought the assembly and ready to do the work. Since there is no separate cover in the headliner to get to it, I'm assuming that at least some of the headliner must be lowered to get to it. Wondering if anyone has experience with doing this replacement. Can I get away with removing the 3 grommets in the ceiling and removing the rear pillar covers to get to this thing? Or does the entire headliner need to be removed?
