Exclamation Right Low and High Headlights are Out

Both the high and low Headlights went out today at the same time on my 2003 Volvo s40. I changed the bulbs and they still don't work. I have been looking around and some people say it might be a bad CEM and others say it could be a faulty cable. Has this happened to anyone else?

All I have is this thread: https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-...w-beams-68391/

Some people have replaced the CEM while others actually replaced the faulty part on the CEM.

Good possibility that it will be the CEM, but the cheap and easy thing to check would be the ground for that side (losing the ground connection would take both bulbs out).

I believe only the low beams go through the CEM for their relay but best to consult the wiring diagram. I'd check fuses and big relays as well but I'd be suspicious of the switch on the dash.
