Hey , I have issue thats driving me n uts. Car has been with garage for third time now. Climate control is not working properly. Different temperatures of air are coming out of vents. One vent is hot, while the other is cold. PLEASE help, the wife has just been given the green light to drive (complicated labour) and the car is still with garage being diagnosed. HELP!! It's as-though the air con is trying to blow cool air, but the hot air is also blasting out. Comments please................ please cc chrisbh77@hotmail on your advice. Regards, Chris

Maybe the temp control motor is bad.

 

which vents are blowing warm and which ones are blowing cool? are the middle ones warm and the sides cool?

 

Hey, far left is cold, middle ones are warmish, and drivers one is a bit hotter. However, at another point, the middle were warm and side was cold! many thanks

 

next time the air temperature does not match the selection input...........turn the control ****`s.......full one way and then full the other way....maybe will have to do it twice........it seem to reset !!!.........and the air temp. will now match the selection........it works........had to do it 2 times the pass two years ( 2005 S40)
