Hello there. My name is Emre Can. I am writing from Turkey. I have 2010 Volvo s40 1.6D drive. I have a problem about my car and we can not find the reason. My problem is Central Electrical Module gets wet. I have tried a lot of way to repair it. We changed front glass’s slicone, checked water canals etc. but we can not find the reason. 3 weeks ago i went to Volvo service and they washed car for a week and they Said there is no leak. Did you had any experience like this before. What could be cause this problem. Our last guess is abot heather core. If anyone can help i appricate. Thank you for your time. (Problem Solved)

Reason: Problem Solved
Very unusual place to get wet as it's above the heater core and away from the sunroof drains. Is it water and not coolant? Coolant will be either orange/green depending on your brand and it will smell sweet. It's also kind of sticky when it dries. The heater core does have 2 o-rings that will leak over time. I can't see a path for the liquid to the CEM though. Mine leaked under the carpet and pooled in the back seat footwell.
My car’s coolant colour is blue and there is no sunroof in my car. Our guess is water walks on the wires because everywhere is dry around the CEM. Just one plug gets wet which is green one.
Today we solved the problem. Problem was about washer fluid pump. Water walks on its wires. The connection was broken and water (water with antifreeze) comes the CEM by following the wire.
