Here is what the car is doing. When it is cold there is a bad noise and it sounds like it is coming from the right side wheel when turning but I would not call it a click, it also has a thud when going over a bump. This morning when driving it cold the noise happen so I was at a stop turned the wheel to the right while holding the brakes gave it gas and the noise was very bad. I have had it on jack stands and felt all normal places to look, the strut nut is still in the center position. Could this be bad CV joints? The car has 170000 miles? Thank you

 

When you turn one direction it only makes the noise? If so that's wheel bearing/hub.

 

It is either direction maybe a little worse to the right. I did lift it up and i have a small amount of play on the inboard CV joint up and down.
