Default S40 Nightmare!

I chose Volvo for safety and trustability!

But the things proved otherwise and I wanted to share
my experience with my new Volvo S40 1.6 TD to show how things go on in the real world!

I bought my Volvo from İstanbul Volcar, a certified Volvo dealer.
The dealer sold it with a smaller than normal sized( given on the user's manual) tires. When I tried to object, he told me that he couldn't do anything and I had to buy the car as I don't have much time because of my job.

In a month or so, the window water spraying motor stopped working and I couldn't use window washer for several weeks(Safety?)

After a waiting period, the part arrived and was changed at a Volvo service.

Then, one of the front lamp washing motor was broken and I had to use the car for 1.5 months without window washer, as all of the fluid leaked from the headlight washer and the service didn't bring the part for 1.5 months. Driving without window washer was very safe!!!

Then the car all of a sudden slowed down while driving and did not went over 100 km/hr. A warning appeared on the screen- low motor performance!. I brought the car immediately to the service again. They told that nothing was wrong, it was beacuse of the fuel...

Yesterday when I was travelling on the highway from Istanbul to Ankara, my car stopped all of a sudden after I turned long frontlights on. Fortunately the highway was not too busy and I had a chance to stop. With great difficulty and after jumping the battery, I reached home last night.

This morning the car didn't start at all, despite jumping. I had to find a taxi and reached work 1.5 hrs late.

Finally, I called Volvo road service.They sent a guy from the service and pulled the car. I wanted to talk all these with a customer service representative, but I'm still waiting them to return my call!!! By the way, I started to go to and return from my work by a taxi starting this morning(1.5 hrs daily trip).

There might be a factory production problem as a very rare exception or something else. I'll wait and see whether Volvo will show up to stand behind their product! My Volvo is now 60,000 km but I`m about to give up!
