I have a 2006 s40 and recently had the roof replaced after some ice fell on it. Ever since I got the car back from the body shop, i've noticed that the roof sounds different than i remembered. When I tap the roof or when rain falls hard on it, it sounds like a hollow metal roof. Can anyone tell me if there is supposed to be insulation or some kind of padding under the roof panel?
