I'm a new member here and posted two times regarding problems I'm having with my drivers seat arm rest and the recirculation motor in my ventilation system. Everything people have told me seems to be accurate and at the core of my problems. What I'm wondering is, is there any way or any site that I can get schematic drawings for different systems/parts of my car? That way I know exactly what people are talking about and how I can fix the problems? Thanks!

 

there is a program called Vadis that you may be able to obtain through ebay. This is not supposed to be a product available to us but there are people who sell them on ebay.

 

The cheapest way is to buy a UK version of the Haynes Manual that covers the S40 that was sold in Europe. Now some things do not apply but most things do. I found mine through IPD. www.ipdusa.com You may also find it directly from Haynes or be able to order it from your local parts store. It does have schematics. As I said though, some things will not apply to the US version of the car. And it will be for the 2000-2004.5 year S40, not the newest ones. I wish Haynes or Chiltons would make one for us but so far no luck.
