Starting Problems
I have a 2005 S40 and I am she doesn’t want to turn over. I teated the battery and it’s not faulty. I also banged the starter a few times but no luck. Actually the starter looks new. Attached is a recording of the sound.
it all started when my daughter said the car wouldn’t start. We had it towed to Firestone and they said that I had a 1 in a million problem. Both my belts busted and one flew into my timing belt which snapped the timing belt and probably bent a valve. He said it would cost $1700 and no guarantee about the bent valve. I said thanks and took it home. When I checked the timing belt, it looked fine and only one of the Surpentine belts were broken. All the fly wheels moved easily and I replaced both belts. I tried starting it over and I could hear the belts moving but not starting.
any ideas on my No Start issue?

I suspect you mean the starter spins the engine but it does not start. If so - (and your audio clip does not appear)
It is certainly possible (and happens more than 1 in a million) that a serpentine belt comes apart and interferes with the cam belt. Many times this results in bent valves.
If so - what's the compression? Does the engine spin over faster than normal when trying to start it? (a much higher pitched sound when the starter is engaged, because there is little resistance due to lack of compression)
If you have bent valves - that is a many thousand dollar repair - Sorry for your loss. (I have fixed many of those)
If that is your problem you will need a garage and a machine shop to properly remove, fix, and reinstall your cylinder head (probably not a Firestone!)

“Turning Over” I am referring to turning the key and the car doesn’t want to start. It does sound like the Starter isn’t properly working.
I tried to add my video clip but it didn’t upload properly but it should be up now.

That sounds like the starter is engaging the solenoid - but it won't spin the engine over. Either there's a connection problem, the battery is too weak, (possibly because the alternator is bad and did not keep it charged) the starter/solenoid is bad (pretty rare) or the engine is seized or partially seized.
I would use a load tester to test current available from the battery. If normal test the voltage drop to the starter.
I would put a socket on the crankshaft pulley bolt - and see if you can manually move/spin the crankshaft.
And will need more info to go any further!.
